Hyvisc (Hyaluronate Sodium) Sterile Injection, 2mL Prefilled Syringe

Recommended for treatment of joint dysfunction in horses due to non-infectious synovitis associated with equine osteoarthritis.

Hyvisc^® (hyaluronate sodium) is a clear, colorless, viscous fluid contained in a 5 mL disposable syringe, as a single 2 mL dose. Store under refrigerated conditions.

HYVISC, which contains 22 mg (11 mg per mL) of hyaluronate sodium, maintains viscoelasticity and lubrication properties similar to naturally occurring synovial fluid.

Important Safety Information

A mild inflammatory response may occur post injection. For intra-articular injection in horses only. Do not use in horses intended for food. Caution: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.
