Optimmune Eye Ointment

Optimmune eye ointment for dogs is a prescription medication containing 0.2% cyclosporine. This fast-acting eye ointment is used for the management of keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS or dry eye). Optimmune works by increasing tear production and reducing inflammation in the eye. It is formulated as an ophthalmic ointment, making it easy to apply to your pet's eye(s)! Your veterinarian may also prescribe Optimmune for the management of other eye conditions such as CSK (chronic superficial keratitis). 

Recommended Dosage

Use as directed by your veterinarian. 

Please contact your veterinarian if the following adverse reactions occur: eye or eyelid inflammations or redness, the mild discomfort of the eye, transient hyperemia, mild hair loss, lid spasm and excessive rubbing.
