The replaceable carbon and sponge cartridge help keep water clearer and cleaner and every purchase comes with a fun volcano decoration to help conceal the filter. You will also get multiple accessories for operation, including airline tubing, airline tubing suction cups and an air adjustment valve and check valve. However please note that an air pump (sold separately) is required in order to operate the betta filters—the Aqueon QuietFlow Air Pump 10 is recommended.
