Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is Organic Equine Complete used for?

Ans: Organic Equine Complete is a powdered supplement made for horses. It combines whole-food ingredients with vitamins, minerals, probiotics, and digestive enzymes to add nutritional support to your horse's regular diet.

Q2: Why is pumpkin used as the protein source in this formula?

Ans: The formula uses organic pumpkin protein because it is easy for horses to digest. It also supplies amino acids that help support normal growth, body maintenance, and muscle health.

Q3: How much should I feed my horse daily?

Ans: Daily amounts are based on your horse's weight, with horses 100 to 1000 lbs receiving 1/4 cup and horses over 1001 lbs receiving 1/2 cup, using the included scoop where 1 scoop equals 1/4 cup.

Q4: Is this different from the Original Whitefish formula?

Ans: Yes, this Organic Pumpkin formula uses plant-based pumpkin protein as its primary protein source, while the Original Whitefish formula uses whole fish protein sourced from New Zealand waters, giving you a plant-based or marine-based option.

Q5: Does this supplement include probiotics and digestive enzymes?

Ans: It does. The formula has two probiotics, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum, along with digestive enzymes. Together, they add nutritional support for your horse's digestive system.

Q6: How long does it take to see results?

Ans: With consistent daily use, many horse owners begin to see noticeable improvements in first few weeks, including improvements in coat appearance, energy levels, and overall digestive function.

Q7: Can this supplement be paired with other Equine products?

Ans: Yes, you can give this along with Equine Flax Seed Oil or Equine Digest-All Plus. They serve different purposes, with the flax oil supplying omega-3s and Digest-All Plus focusing on digestion.

Q8: Why does horses' diet matter for choosing a supplement?

Ans: A horse's diet plays a big role in its overall nutrition. Since horses naturally eat plant-based foods, this formula uses whole-food ingredients rather than relying on a long list of synthetic ingredients.

Q9: How should I introduce this supplement to my horse?

Ans: Simply mix it into your horse's regular feed, and the daily amount may be divided among multiple feedings throughout the day if that works better for your horse's routine.
