Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is Wholistic Pet Organics Puppy Complete used for?
Ans: Puppy Complete is made to give growing puppies some extra nutrition with their regular meals. It contains a mix of vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, enzymes, antioxidants, and probiotics to support their nutritional needs as they grow.
Q2: What protein source is used in the Original White Fish Flavor?
Ans: This formula uses Whole Fish Protein sourced from wild-caught white fish, including cod, haddock, and pollock, providing a naturally high-quality, hydrolyzed collagen protein rich in amino acids.
Q3: How much should I feed my puppy daily?
Ans: Daily amounts are based on your puppy's weight, ranging from 1/3 teaspoon for puppies 2 to 10 lbs up to 2 tablespoons for puppies 61 lbs and over, with 1 scoop equaling 1 tablespoon.
Q4: What results can I expect, and how soon?
Ans: Results can vary from one puppy to another. With regular use, you may notice changes in your puppy's skin and coat after a few weeks. Scratching, chewing, or rubbing the face may also become less frequent.
Q5: Can this be added to homemade puppy food?
Ans: Yes, but it must be added after cooking rather than before, since heat can break down and destroy many of the vitamins and nutrients found in this supplement.
Q6: Is this supplement suitable for all puppy breeds and sizes?
Ans: Yes. Puppy Complete can be given to puppies of different breeds and sizes. It is made to provide extra nutritional support while puppies are growing.
Q7: What is the difference between this and the Organic Pumpkin formula?
Ans: This Original White Fish Flavor uses whole fish protein from wild-caught white fish, while the Organic Pumpkin formula uses plant-based pumpkin protein, giving you a choice based on your puppy's preferences or dietary needs.
Q8: Does this supplement include probiotics for digestive health?
Ans: Yes. The formula contains two probiotic strains, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum. It also has fructooligosaccharide, a prebiotic that provides added support for your puppy's gut.
Q9: What sizes are available for this product?
Ans: This formula is available in two sizes, an 8 oz container and a 1 lb container, giving you the option to choose based on your puppy's size and how long you'd like the supply to last.
