Famotidine 20mg Tablets

Famotidine is prescribed to treat multiple digestive disorders of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, including ulcers. These tablets may help by reducing the production of acid in the stomach and GI tract and may also help treat reflux and inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis). Famotidine works by blocking histamine action in the stomach. Histamine is a compound released by the body that results in more acid being produced in the stomach. Side effects are rare and mild, but famotidine may pass through the breast milk of lactating dogs.
