Flea, Heartworm, and Parasite Prevention for Puppies and Kittens
Product Description
Revolt (Selamectin) Topical Solution for Puppies and Kittens up to 5 lbs (Rose Box) is an FDA-approved prescription spot-on. Each 0.25 mL rose-box tube has 15 mg selamectin at 60 mg/mL, the only Revolt size approved for both puppies 6 weeks and older and kittens 8 weeks and older. It prevents heartworm, kills adult fleas, stops flea eggs from hatching, and treats ear mites in both species.

How to Use
Directions for Use
- Prescription Required: Revolt is federally restricted and must only be used under a licensed veterinarian's order with a valid prescription.
- Rose Box Dose: Empty the full rose-box tube onto the skin monthly to deliver the right selamectin amount.
- Opening the Tube: Keep the tube pointing up and turn the cap until it snaps the seal open.
- Apply to Skin: Separate the coat at the back of the neck and give the tube 3 to 4 firm presses.
- Prevent Drawback: Keep the tube pressed on the last squeeze, drag it away from the liquid, then lift it off to stop the solution from pulling back in.
- Do Not Massage: Leave the solution on the skin where it was applied; rubbing it in can reduce how well it spreads and how well it works.
- Avoid Damaged Skin: Never apply to a wet coat or broken skin, as the alcohol content can cause discomfort and irritation on damaged tissue.
- Puppy Bathing Window: Bathing the puppy 2 or more hours after applying will not lower the effectiveness against fleas or heartworm at all.
- Kitten Bathing Window: For kittens, wait 2 hours before bathing to keep flea protection and 24 hours to protect against full heartworm prevention.
- Missed Dose: Apply the dose right away if one was missed, get back on the monthly schedule, and let your vet know it was skipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What does Revolt Rose Box selamectin spot-on treat in puppies and kittens?
Ans: In puppies, Revolt Rose Box prevents heartworm, kills adult fleas, controls flea infestations, and treats ear mites, sarcoptic mange, and American dog ticks. In kittens, it prevents heartworm, kills fleas, treats ear mites, and clears roundworms and hookworms with one monthly application.
Q2: What is the minimum age to use Revolt topical solution on puppies and kittens?
Ans: Revolt Rose Box can be used on puppies that have turned 6 weeks old and kittens that are at least 8 weeks old, both weighing up to 5 lbs. It must never be applied to sick, underweight, or debilitated young animals at any age, regardless of weight.
Q3: Can I bathe my kitten or puppy after applying Revolt flea and heartworm treatment?
Ans: For puppies, bathing 2 or more hours after applying will not reduce flea or heartworm protection at all. For kittens, the same 2-hour wait applies for flea coverage, but a full 24-hour wait is needed to keep heartworm prevention working at full strength.
Q4: Is Revolt Rose Box selamectin the same as Revolution for young pets?
Ans: Yes. Revolt by Aurora Pharmaceutical has selamectin at 60 mg/mL, matching Revolution by Zoetis for pets under 5 lbs. It is an FDA-approved generic that covers the same parasites in young pets and is manufactured and packed in the USA just like the original product.
Q5: Does Revolt Rose Box protect kittens and puppies from intestinal worms?
Ans: Revolt treats and controls roundworms (Toxocara cati) and hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme) in kittens with a single monthly topical dose. This intestinal worm coverage is only for cats and kittens and does not apply to puppies or adult dogs at any dose.
