Pala-Tech^™ Potassium Citrate Plus Cranberry Granules is formulated to effectively manage urinary tract health in dogs and cats. Formulation includes high levels of potassium citrate to prevent the formation of calcium oxalate stones in the bladder. Increasing the citrate levels in the urine results in the calcium binding with the citrate instead of to oxalate, since calcium citrate tends to stay dissolved whereas calcium oxalate tends to precipitate out as a mineral deposit (i.e. stones). Supplemental potassium will increase urine alkalinity, which will further inhibit stone formation. Includes cranberry extract, which has been shown to enhance urinary tract health.

Potassium citrate, cranberry extract, essential fatty acids calcium phosphate, choline chloride, hydrolyzed vegetable protein, marine lipid concentrates, natural chicken flavor silicone dioxide, stearic acid, sucrose, vegetable oil, and whey.
