HOW TO USE
Using PetArmor® Hot Spot Skin Remedy for Dogs at home is easy. Just follow these steps each time you use the product.

BEFORE YOU APPLY
Applying correctly starts with purchasing the correct product. 

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT ON CATS. Be sure to choose dog products for dogs and cat products for cats. These products are different formulations based on the species 
Don't forget to consider your dog's age. ONLY use PetArmor® Hot Spot Skin Remedy for Dogs on dogs and puppies over 6 weeks of age.

APPLYING THE PRODUCT

• Trim fur around the sore.
  
• Wash area with mild soap and water.
  
• Rinse and pat dry.
  
• Apply to affected areas.
  
• Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water afer applying.
  
• Keep treated pets apart from each other, other pets and children for 24 hours after treatment and until the product is dry. This helps prevent pets from ingesting the product by licking or grooming one another.

2. HOW OFTEN CAN I APPLY THIS PRODUCT?
It can be applied as often as needed. We would recommend applying no more than twice daily. If problem persists for more than one week, we would recommend consulting your veterinarian.

3. WHAT IF MY DOG LICKS IT? WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
We recommend you try to prevent your dog from licking the product while it is still wet. PetArmor® Hot Spot Remedy dries fairly quickly, within about 10 minutes. Once the product is dry, there is no harm in your pet licking the product. If your pet does get a lick of the product, you may see some drooling or foaming. We recommend you give your pet a flavorful treat to help remove the undesirable taste from their mouth.
