Product Description

Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that may be used to treat inflammation conditions in the eyes of dogs and cats. Dexamethasone solution may be prescribed to decrease inflammation due to conjuctivitis and other conditions.

Possible Side Effects

This medication is typically safe when used as directed, but minor side effects such as burning, stinging, itching, redness, blurred vision or sensitivity to light have been reported. Other rare side effects include glaucoma, cataracts and perforation of the cornea. Infection can also occur if this medication is used long-term.

Recommended Dosage

Apply the prescribed number of drops to the affected eye(s). 

Storage Instructions

Store between temperatures of 59° -77°F.
