How Autoship Works

Set up AutoShip in one click to get it running.

Step 1: Find Your Product: Browse HardyPaw for the medication, supplement, or care product your pet needs. Look for products that display the Autoship & Save option on the product page. These are the items eligible for recurring delivery and automatic savings.

Step 2: Select Autoship & Save: On the product page, you will see two purchase options under Purchase Options: Autoship & Save and One-time purchase. Select Autoship & Save. The discounted price is displayed immediately, so you can see exactly how much you are saving before you proceed.

Step 3: Choose Your Delivery Frequency: Once you select Autoship & Save, a frequency dropdown will appear. Choose how often you want the product delivered. Options range from every week to every 11 months. Pick the interval that best matches how quickly your pet goes through that product.

Step 4: Add to Cart: With your frequency selected, add the product to your cart. You can add multiple Autoship & Save products in one session.

Step 5: Complete Checkout: Proceed through checkout as normal. Select the Payment Method, as all future Autoship orders will be charged automatically to your selected payment method on your chosen schedule.

Step 6: Your First Order Ships Right Away: Your first order is placed and processed immediately at checkout, with the 25% first-order (Up to $40) discount applied automatically to eligible products. No code needed.

Step 7: Future Orders Run Automatically: From your second order onwards, HardyPaw processes and ships your Autoship orders automatically on your chosen schedule, at 5% off every time. Five days before each charge, you will receive an email with a full summary of what is scheduled to ship and the current price of each item. You can make any changes, any time before the charge is processed.

Post-Order Shipping Note: Once your order has been charged and dispatched, a confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to you. OTC and Prescription items are typically shipped the same or next business day.

Why Pet Parents Love Autoship

Autoship was built for pets who need consistent, uninterrupted care. Whether your pet is on a daily medication, a regular supplement, or a monthly preventative, Autoship makes sure the right products arrive before you ever need to think about reordering.

1: Your Pet Never Misses a Dose: For pets on ongoing medications or daily supplements, running out mid-treatment is not just inconvenient, it can affect their health. Autoship places your next order automatically on your chosen schedule, so there is always product at home and never an unplanned gap in your pet's routine.

2: Consistent Savings on the Products You Buy Most: The products that go on Autoship are the ones you buy month after month. That is exactly where regular savings make the most difference. With 25% off your first order (Up to $40) and 5% off every delivery that follows, the total saving builds steadily over the life of your pet's treatment or routine.

3: Priority Access to Reserved Inventory: As an Autoship customer, HardyPaw reserves stock for your scheduled orders. When a product is running low across the site, Autoship orders are fulfilled first. For pets on medications that can be in limited supply, this priority access is not just a perk; it is genuinely important.

4: A Frequency Range That Fits Any Product or Pet: No two pets are the same, and no two products last the same amount of time. That is why HardyPaw Autoship offers delivery intervals from every week all the way to every 11 months. Choose the frequency that reflects how your pet actually uses each product, and adjust it any time from your account.

5: Full Visibility Before Every Charge: Five days before each Autoship order is processed, HardyPaw sends you a notification email with the full list of items, quantities, and current prices scheduled for that delivery. You have until the charge is processed to make any changes, so you are always informed and always in control before money leaves your account.

6: Flexible by Design, With No Penalties: Autoship is not a contract. You can change your delivery frequency, delay your next order, pause your subscription, or cancel entirely after your second renewal, all from your account dashboard without calling anyone or paying a fee. Your pet's needs will change over time, and your Autoship can change with them.

Managing Your Autoship

Log in to your HardyPaw account and go to your Autoship dashboard to see all your active subscriptions. Each product subscription is listed independently, with its own schedule, frequency, and next charge date.

Delivery Frequency: You can change the delivery frequency of any Autoship subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Frequency changes take effect after your next scheduled order, not before it. Your upcoming order will still process on its existing date.

Next Order Date: You can move your next order date forward or back from your Autoship dashboard. This does not affect your delivery frequency. It only adjusts when that particular order is processed.

Skipping an Order: If you still have product left and do not need your next shipment, you can delay your order timeline from your account. You have until the charge is processed to make this change.

Pausing Your Autoship: If your pet's needs have changed temporarily, you can pause your Autoship subscription from your account dashboard. Pausing stops future orders until you choose to resume, with no fees and no penalty.

Canceling Your Autoship: You can cancel any Autoship subscription after your 1st renewal has been fulfilled (apart from your initial order). Go to your Autoship dashboard, select the subscription you want to end, and confirm the cancellation. All future shipments for that subscription will stop immediately. There are no cancellation fees.

Updating Payment or Shipping Details: You can update your saved payment method or delivery address from your HardyPaw account at any time. If a payment is declined or your card has expired, HardyPaw will notify you by email. Updating your details promptly will ensure your scheduled order is not delayed.

Multiple Autoship Subscriptions: If you have set up Autoship for more than one product, each subscription is managed independently. You can set different frequencies, adjust dates, pause, or cancel each one separately from your Autoship dashboard.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: What is HardyPaw Autoship?

Ans: HardyPaw Autoship is a recurring delivery subscription that automatically sends your chosen products on a schedule you set. You save 25% on your first Autoship order (Up to $40) and 5% on every delivery after that, with no fees and no minimum contract beyond a completed second order. It is designed to keep your pet's medications and essentials arriving reliably without you needing to reorder manually.

Q2: How do I set up Autoship?

Ans: On any eligible product page, select the Autoship option instead of the one-time purchase option. Choose your preferred delivery frequency from the dropdown, which ranges from every week to every 11 months. Add the item to your cart and complete checkout as usual. Your first order will be processed immediately, and your Autoship will activate from that point.

Q3: Which products are eligible for Autoship?

Ans: A wide range of HardyPaw products qualify for Autoship, including prescription medications, OTC treatments, flea and tick preventatives, joint and digestive supplements, and everyday care products. Eligibility is shown on each individual product page. Not every product in the HardyPaw range is Autoship-eligible, so check the product page before adding to cart.

Q4: Can I set up Autoship for prescription medications?

Ans: Yes. Prescription medications can be added to Autoship. Your pet's valid prescription must be on file with HardyPaw before each prescription Autoship order can be dispatched. If a prescription is on file, prescription Autoship orders ship the same or next business day, the same as OTC orders.

Q5: When will I be charged for each Autoship order?

Ans: You will be charged automatically on your chosen schedule, based on the delivery frequency you selected. Five days before each charge, HardyPaw sends you a notification email listing all items scheduled to ship and their current prices. You can make any changes to that order anytime before the charge is processed.

Q6: Can I change how often my Autoship delivers?

Ans: Yes, you can change the delivery frequency of any Autoship subscription from your account dashboard at any time. The new frequency will take effect after your next scheduled order. Your upcoming order will still process on its current date before the new interval begins.

Q7: What happens if a product in my Autoship is out of stock?

Ans: If a product is temporarily unavailable, HardyPaw will notify you by email immediately. As an Autoship customer, you have priority access to reserved inventory, which reduces the likelihood of being affected by stock shortages. In the event of an extended delay, we will be in touch with further information.

Q8: Will my Autoship price change if the product price changes?

Ans: Autoship orders are always charged at the regular product price at the time each order is processed. If a manufacturer adjusts the price of a product, the updated price will be reflected in your next order. The pre-shipment notification email you receive five days before each charge will always show the current price clearly before you are billed.

Q9: How do I cancel my Autoship?

Ans: You can cancel any Autoship subscription from your account dashboard after your 1st renewal has been fulfilled. Select the subscription you want to end and confirm the cancellation. There are no fees for canceling, and all future shipments for that subscription will stop immediately. Cancellations are not permitted before the second order is completed.
