Metoclopramide Tablets, 10mg

Metoclopramide enhances muscle contractions in the upper digestive tract, accelerating the emptying of the stomach into the intestines. It is a short-term treatment for nausea, vomiting, and heartburn resulting from gastroesophageal reflux in individuals who have not found relief with other medications. It is also used to treat post-operative nausea and vomiting, as well as to prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy.

Possible Side Effects

Possible side effects may include dizziness, confusion, drowsiness, diarrhea, nausea, increased urination and fluid retention. Possible allergic reactions that require immediate attention include difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, face and tongue, hives, uncontrollable spasm of any body part, depression, anxiety or agitation, insomnia, seizures and yellowing of the skin or eyes.

Recommended Dosage

Give as directed by your veterinarian. 

Storage Instructions

Store at controlled room temperatures between 68° - 77°F.
