Possible Side Effects

While common side effects in dogs may include a decrease in appetite, vomiting, and diarrhea, it is important to be aware of more serious potential effects such as keratoconjunctivitis sicca (dry eye), acute liver inflammation leading to yellowing of the skin and eyes, fever, hemolytic anemia, urticaria (hives), polyarthritis, facial swelling, increased thirst and urination, and cholestasis (gall bladder attack).
