Product Description

EqStim® is a preparation consisting of 0.4 mg/mL non-viable Propionibacterium acnes suspended in 12.5% ethanol in saline.This product has been shown to be effective for the treatment of horses as an adjunct therapy against equine respiratory disease. This product has been demonstrated to be effective in increasing the rate of recovery when used in conjunction with antibiotic or hyperimmune therapy in the treatment of primary and secondary bacterial and viral infections associated with equine respiratory disease complex. Provides the safest, most controlled CMI response available among licensed immunostimulants. 

Recommended Dosage

Use as directed by your veterinarian. 

Precautions:
Do not administer concomitantly with any type of steroid. Steroids can have a suppressing effect on the immune system, adversely affecting the capacity of EqStim to stimulate the appropriate immune response.

Storage Instructions

Store at 2°-25°C (35°-77°F) until first used, then store at 2°-8°C (35°-46°F) until expiry. Do not freeze.
