Famotidine Tablets, 10mg

Famotidine is effective for treating various digestive disorders of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract, such as ulcers. Its mechanism of action involves decreasing acid production in the stomach and GI tract, and it may also be helpful in treating reflux and gastritis. This medication works by inhibiting the activity of histamine, a compound in the body that can stimulate acid production in the stomach. While side effects are uncommon and typically mild, famotidine may excrete into the breast milk of lactating dogs.
