Dosage & Administration Instructions

  • Monthly Dose: Give by mouth once a month at a minimum of 0.23 mg per pound of body weight.
  • Keep It Consistent: Try to give the tablet on the same date each month to maintain steady protection.
  • With Food: You can offer it with food or give it the same way you would any other tablet.
  • Make Sure It’s Taken: Watch your pet after giving the dose to confirm the whole tablet is swallowed.
  • If You Miss a Dose: If more than 30 days have passed, give a dose as soon as possible and then continue with the regular monthly schedule.
  • Switching from DEC: If replacing diethylcarbamazine, give the first dose within 30 days of the last DEC dose.
