Directions For Use

For every cup of freeze-dried cat food, add half a cup of cool or warm water. Allow food to rehydrate for one minute, mix and serve. Food can be fed dry, but always make sure your cat has ample fresh water at mealtime. Optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size, breed, and activity level. Please refer to the feeding chart below as an initial recommendation and adjust food amount as needed to reach desired weight:

Kittens may need up to twice the amount of food as listed for an active adult. For pregnant & nursing cats, please check with your veterinarian as requirements may vary depending on the number of kittens and stage of lactation.

Transition Instructions
Introduce by slowly mixing with your pet's current diet, over the course of 7 - 10 days. Timeframes can be adjust as needed.

How do you store this once opened. In fridge or cupboard
Stella & Chewy's Freeze-Dried foods are incredibly convenient because of their shelf stability and do not require refrigeration. As long the top of the bag is sealed using the zip closure, it will be fine in a cupboard or pantry. When stored according to the directions, the product is safe until the expiration date, but freshest within the first few weeks of opening. Refrigeration is an option if you choose to extend the freshness.

The poultry/fish are antibiotic-free and have no added hormones. The poultry (chicken, duck, goose, turkey, and quail) are sourced from North America and Europe. They are raised cage-free. The fish is wild-caught in North American waters. The vitamin and mineral mix that is used in their recipes is formulated from the United States – the individual components are from the US, Western Europe, and India, with Taurine from Japan.
