Maintenance is a necessary part of a good aquarium keeping. Routine water changes and pulling debris from gravel helps maintain a natural balance in the aquarium environment. Aqueon Siphon Vacuum Gravel Cleaners help to make this job easier and take less time. Just a simple up and down motion with the intake tube will quickly prime the siphon to begin water flow. Debris is pulled away with flowing water and disposed of while gravel falls to the bottom of the aquarium. Be sure to add Aqueon Water Conditioner when adding clean water to aquarium. Five different siphon gravel vacuum sizes to accommodate different aquariums.

Will this work to clean a 75 gallon tank?
The Mini, 5 inch cleaner is suitable for 1-5 gallon tanks, the Medium, 9 inch is suitable for 15-35 gallon tanks, and the Large, 16 inch is suitable for 40 gallons or larger tanks.

Can this be used for fish tanks with sand as well?
This Gravel Cleaner is not recommended to use with sand as it is too fine and might get clogged. For sand, we recommend using a fine net.

What is the diameter of the tube. is it smaller than the one on the Aqueon syphon with the syphon starter?
The Mini is 1 inch in diameter, the Medium is 1.5 inches in diameter, and the Large is 2 inches in diameter.

Would this work well for a 10 gallon turtle tank? (it's filled about a third of the way with water)
The mini-size hose is suitable for 1-5 gallon tanks, the medium-sized hose is suitable for 15-35 gallon tanks, and the large size is suitable for tanks 40 gallons and more.
