Osphos (clodronate injection) is an FDA-approved injectable prescribed to help control the symptoms of Navicular Syndrome. Navicular syndrome is one of the most common lameness issues in adult horses in which the pain arises in the navicular bone, which sits deep within the hoof. Osphos contains ingredients that bind to calcium crystals, helping to limit the breakdown of bone.
