PregGuard Gold FP 10 – BVD & IBR Defense for Cattle

Yes, provided they were vaccinated previously within the last 12 months with a modified-live virus vaccine. Always use label instructions or consult a veterinarian before administering.
How often should PregGuard Gold FP 10 be given?
It should be included in an annual immunization program for breeding heifers and cows. A booster will be based on veterinarian advice and herd health level.
Directions:
Primary vaccination: Administer a single 2 mL dose to all breeding cows and heifers at least one month before breeding or to any non-pregnant females being added to the herd, followed two to four weeks later by a single dose of STAYBRED® VL5 or SPIROVAC VL5.
Revaccination: Historically, annual revaccination with this product was recommended. The need for booster vaccinations has not been established for this product; consultation with a veterinarian or the manufacturer is recommended.
Precautions:
Do not use in pregnant cattle (abortions can result) unless they were vaccinated, according to label directions, with any BOVI-SHIELD GOLD FP or PREGGUARD GOLD FP vaccine prebreeding initially and within 12 months thereafter. Do not use in calves nursing pregnant cows unless their dams were vaccinated within the past 12 months as described above. To help ensure safety in pregnant cattle, heifers must receive at least 2 doses of any BOVI-SHIELD GOLD FP or PREGGUARD GOLD FP vaccine with the second dose administered at least 30 days prebreeding.
