Metoclopramide Oral Solution 5mg/mL 

Metoclopramide enhances muscle contractions in the upper digestive tract, increasing the speed at which the stomach empties into the intestines. This medication is used on a short-term basis for managing nausea, vomiting, and heartburn resulting from gastroesophageal reflux in individuals who have not experienced relief with other treatments. It is also effective for treating post-operative nausea and vomiting, as well as preventing chemotherapy-related nausea and vomiting.

Possible Side Effects

Possible side effects may include dizziness, confusion, drowsiness, diarrhea, nausea, increased urination and fluid retention. Possible allergic reactions that require immediate attention include difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, face and tongue, hives, uncontrollable spasm of any body part, depression, anxiety or agitation, insomnia, seizures and yellowing of the skin or eyes
