Frequently Asked Questions About McLovin's Pet
Q1: What is the McLovin's Treat Tumbler?
Ans: The McLovin's Treat Tumbler is an interactive puzzle toy for dogs. You fill it with your dog's favorite snacks, and your dog rolls and nudges it until the treats fall out. It fits small, medium, and large breeds, and puppies, adults, and seniors can all use it.
Q2: Can the Treat Tumbler help with boredom?
Ans: Yes. A dog treat dispenser like the Treat Tumbler gives your dog a puzzle to solve when you cannot play. It is meant to satisfy hunting instincts, reduce boredom, and discourage destructive behavior. Using less food in each round can also help you manage your dog's calorie intake.
Q3: How do I clean the Treat Tumbler?
Ans: Wipe the toy clean after each use. Its non-porous surface does not trap odors, so it stays easy to clean and keeps treats tasting good. Check the toy regularly for cracks or damage and stop using it and replace it if you spot any. Use it for pets only.
Q4: What is the McLovin's 2-in-1 Water Dispenser with Food Bowl?
Ans: The 2-in-1 Water Dispenser with Food Bowl works as a food and water dispenser in one unit. A gravity siphon refills the water bowl automatically, and it suits small and medium pets. It comes in blue, grey, or pink, and you should hand wash all parts.
Q5: How does the McLovin's Gravity Water Dispenser work?
Ans: It is a gravity-fed water dispenser that keeps the bowl topped up for cats and small dogs. The Gravity Pet Water Dispenser uses a gravity siphon to refill the bowl automatically, and the reservoir holds 94 oz. Pour in water to start the siphon, then install the carbon filter.
Q6: How often should I replace the water dispenser filter?
Ans: Replace the activated carbon filter once a month. Take out the old filter, throw it away, and put a new one in the reservoir. Each replacement filter pack has six filters, so one pack covers several months. Use them only with McLovin's gravity pet water dispensers.
Q7: Can I put McLovin's bowls and dispensers in the dishwasher?
Ans: It depends on the product. The Bowls with Magnetic Mat can go in the dishwasher or be washed by hand, so separate the bowl from the mat first. The gravity water dispensers are not dishwasher safe, so hand wash every part. Wipe the Treat Tumbler clean after each use.
Q8: Is the McLovin's slicker brush gentle on sensitive skin?
Ans: The slicker brush has soft, plump anti-scratch tips that are designed to be gentle on skin. Even so, brush gently to avoid irritating sensitive skin, and supervise your pet while you groom. It works on dogs and cats with long or short fur, and it is easy to hold.
