Shelter's Choice Milk Replacer for puppies and dogs is ideal milk for feeding orphaned puppies, abandoned puppies or puppies in a shelter that are needing a nutritional boost. Mother's milk is always best when possible. However, nursing isn't always an option for puppies. That's why this puppy milk replacer provides complete nutrition and promotes a healthy stomach while minimizing the potential for diarrhea.

Instructions:

Puppies up to 35 days of age - Mix the puppy milk powder with room temperature water (75F) at a rate of 1 tablespoon (Tbsp) of powder to 2 Tbsp of water. Supplementation over 35 days of age - Powder can be used to top dress food by sprinkling dry mix at a rate of 1 Tbsp of powder per 15 lbs body weight, up to twice a day. If a liquid supplement is desired, simply mix 1 Tbsp of prepared milk replacer per 5 lbs of body weight into the dog's daily food ration. Refrigerate the remaining mixed formula. Shake well before using and discard after 24 hours.
