All prescription medication orders require a valid prescription or authorization from a licensed veterinarian before the medication can be dispensed.

Only the original written veterinarian prescription should be mailed. Photocopies are not accepted when an original prescription is required.
How to Submit Your Pet's Prescription
When placing a prescription order, you may be provided with one or more of the following options depending on the medication and dispensing pharmacy.
I Will Mail My Original Prescription
Mail the original veterinarian prescription to the dispensing pharmacy identified for your order.

I Have a Refill on File
The dispensing pharmacy will verify that a valid prescription and eligible refills remain on file before processing the order.
My Veterinarian Will Call in the Prescription
For orders being fulfilled by HardyPaw Pharmacy, your veterinarian may call:

When placing your order, provide your veterinarian's information. The pharmacy will contact your veterinarian and request prescription authorization.
Please allow approximately 1–3 business days for your veterinarian to respond. Processing may take longer depending on your veterinarian's response time.

Prescription Transfers
If you would like to transfer an eligible prescription from another pharmacy, provide the pharmacy's name and telephone number in the comments section of your order or contact HardyPaw Pharmacy at:

Prescription transfers are subject to applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
Prescription Approval and Processing
Prescription medications cannot be shipped until the dispensing pharmacy receives and verifies a valid veterinarian prescription or authorization.
Processing time depends on how quickly the veterinarian responds to the pharmacy's request.
Your prescription order will be processed as soon as the required prescription authorization has been received and verified.
If a valid prescription is not received within 30 business days of the order date, the order may be canceled.
