Absolutely! Prestige 3 can be combined with West Nile Virus, Equine Influenza, Equine Herpesvirus (EHV-1/4), and Rabies vaccines as part of an entire equine vaccination program. Always consult with a veterinarian for the best vaccination schedule.

FAQ
What does the Prestige 3 vaccine guard against?
The Prestige 3 Equine Vaccine protects horses from three life-threatening equine diseases:
- Eastern Equine Encephalomyelitis (EEE)
- Western Equine Encephalomyelitis (WEE)
- Tetanus
Which horses should receive this vaccine?
This vaccine is recommended to be administered to all healthy horses, particularly those that live in or travel through mosquito-infested environments, as EEE and WEE are carried by mosquitoes.
How old must a horse be when it receives the Prestige 3 vaccine?
Foals should be vaccinated for the first time between 4-6 months of age and receive a booster 3-4 weeks after.
Annual boosters are necessary for adult horses, with semi-annual boosters in high-risk regions.
Does my horse require a booster shot?
Yes. After the primary series, boosters are recommended annually. Horses in areas where mosquito-borne diseases are common may require semi-annual boosters.
Are there any side effects?
Most horses tolerate the vaccine, but transient swelling at the injection site, slight fever, or drowsiness may be experienced as side effects. Severe side effects are rare but need to be reported to a veterinarian.
Why is vaccinating against EEE, WEE, and Tetanus important?
- EEE & WEE are lethal mosquito-borne illnesses that attack the nervous system, producing fever, paralysis, and death.
- Tetanus is produced by bacteria found in the soil and can result in stiffness of the muscles, trouble eating, and life-threatening complications.
- Immunization is the safest way to prevent horses from contracting these killer diseases.
