Farrier’s Formula DS Plus Joint is a pelleted formula that offers more than just a joint support for horses. The active ingredients also help to mend the hooves and joints of horses while repairing the skin and coat.

This formula contains proline, ornithine, manganese, and sulfur, specifically targeting hoof and joint support. Even the best joint supplement when combined with a hoof supplement can lead to excessive sulfur supplementation. Farrier’s Formula DS Plus Joint reduces the risks of sulfur over supplementation while still supporting joints and the hooves. It also provides omega 3 fatty acids, zinc, phospholipids and copper promoting healthy and vibrant state skin and hair coat.

At the recommended Adult Dosage for an average 1,000-pound horse, the sulfur level provided is equivalent to 3,500 mg of MSM. It is suitable for all ages and work levels of horses. It comes in 11lb nitrogen flushed vacuum bags (measuring cup not included)

Directions to Use

Adult Horses Dosage:

• For each 1000 lbs. (450 kg) of body weight administer 1/2 standard kitchen measuring cup (85 gm) of product per day.

Weanling to Adults Dosage

• The predicted adult weight from the chart above.

Nursing Foals

• 1/8 measuring cup (2 tablespoons, 30 ml or 21 g) per day.

Farrier's Formula® DS  Plus Joint is doping free and can be safely fed to competition horses. One 11 lb bag is approximately a 60-day supply for the average 1,000 lb. horse.
