Depo-Medrol 20 mg/mL, 20 mL is an injectable steroid for dogs, cats, and horses with powerful anti-inflammatory effects. The active ingredient in Depo-Medrol is methylprednisolone. Methylprednisolone is a glucocorticoid steroid medication used to treat many inflammatory conditions, pets with adrenal gland disease, and pets with immune-mediated diseases. It is similar to but slightly more potent than prednisone / prednisolone. It is used to reduce pain and lameness associated with arthritis, synovitis, tendonitis, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Depo-Medrol can be injected both intramuscularly and via intrasynovial route.
