Product Description

Azathioprine is a prescription medication used in dogs and cats for the treatment of autoimmune diseases in dogs and cats. Azathioprine can be used to treat inflammatory bowel disease, immune mediated anemia, colitis, immune mediated skin disease, certain types of kidney disease, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Possible Side Effects

Side effects may include anemia, pale gums, weakness, lethargy, bruising or bleeding, decreased white blood cell counts and increased risk of infection. Talk to your vet about unusual side effects.

Recommended Dosage

Give by mouth according to your vet's instructions. The dose of this medication and frequency of administration is based on your pet's condition and response to the treatment.

Store between 59° - 77°F.
