Nutramax has combined over ten years of clinical use and research on their joint health supplement Cosequin with their research in advanced joint health ingredients in developing Dasuquin®, a cost-effective formulation for dogs. Dasuquin combines NMX1000 ASU (avocado/soybean unsaponifiables) and decaffeinated tea with Cosequin's FCHG49 glucosamine hydrochloride and TRH122 low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate to provide a comprehensive joint health management formula for dogs. Dasuquin is a dual synergistic formula: its specific glucosamine hydrochloride and low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate have demonstrated synergy in stimulating cartilage matrix production, while ASU also acts synergistically with glucosamine.

Directions for Use

Allow 4-6 weeks initially to note a response, though some dogs may respond sooner. If desired, the number of tablets may then be reduced to a maintenance level. The maintenance level can also be used long-term in healthy dogs to help support their joints. An individual dog’s needs may vary. To provide extra support to the joints, dogs on a maintenance level can be increased to the initial level as needed, e.g., on weekends or other times when they are more active.

Each Chewable Tablet Contains: Glucosamine Hydrochloride* 99% (900 mg for Large Dogs), Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate* (Low Molecular Weight) (350 mg for Large Dogs), Avocado/Soybean Unsaponifiables* (Asu) Powder (90 mg for Large Dogs). Dasuquin Chewable Tablets Are Also Available for Dogs In Formulations Containing MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane).
