Directions For Use

Pre-test for color fastness on a hidden area. If color appears on cloth, discontinue use. 

1. Remove as much of the stain or pet urine as possible using a highly absorbent towel.

2. Apply a liberal amount of Rocco & Roxie's Stain & Odor Eliminator to affected area. For surface stains, allow to stand 5-10 minutes, then wipe with a cloth. For odor problems, use enough product to thoroughly penetrate both the carpet and underlying pad. Remove sprayer and pour directly. Allow to stand 1 hour. 

3. Absorb as much of the remaining liquid as possible. For surface stains, allow area to air dry. For deep odor problems, fold a towel several times and lay over treated area. Place a weighted object on top of the towel. This will wick the residual liquid out of the carpet pad. 

4. Once dried, vacuum and inspect treated area. Stain and odor should be gone. If not, repeat procedure. Older stains and odors may require more than one application.

1. Can this be used on a leather sofa for cat urine? Thank you
Though this product is water-based, many customers have had great success using this stain and odor eliminator on their leather couches and chairs.

2. Can you use this in the laundry where cats have urinated on bedding?
This eliminator was designed to remove stains from carpeting, rugs, upholstery, laundry, and more!

3. Does this product help remove stubborn stain and odor from wall due to cat spraying ?
This spray is designed to remove set in stains. It uses an enzymatic bacteria to penetrate deep into the stain and is activated on contact by feeding on ammonia crystals and organic matter until it's completely dissolved.

4. When this product cleans and no odor, is it also cleared when viewed under black light ?
The Stain & Odor Eliminator's biological ingredients on fresh urine can sometimes give off a false positive under the black light. That means that the beneficial bacteria, when active, will glow under the black light. As time passes and the urine is consumed, the bacteria go dormant and are vacuumed; the glow will fade. However, if the urine dried, the glow can’t be removed. Urine and other bodily fluids fluoresce under UV light for multiple reasons - the most important to us is they contain phosphorus. (There are also proteins, among other things, that will glow and change the fluorescence color) Since phosphorus is an insoluble mineral, it can be left behind even after using this Stain & Odor Eliminator. However, it is inert and harmless, so its presence will have no impact.

5. Want to use on outdoor turf. What is coverage rate?
This product works on carpets, upholstery, hardwood, tile, concrete, artificial grass, litter boxes, diaper pails, laundry, and more. The coverage rate will depend on the saturation used for each treatment site. Older stains and odors may require more than one application.

6. Does this work if other cleaners have already been used on an old spot?
Previous products that could render the Stain & Odor Eliminator to not work, would be ones that are highly acidic or alkaline (like bleach or vinegar).

7. Is this product safe to use around cats and dogs?
This spray is made from a natural and bio-enzymatic formula and is safe to use around pets and children.

8. Do you have Rocco & Roxie Pet Stain & Odor Eliminator in the gallon size?
This odor eliminator solution is available in a 32-ounce spray bottle and 1-gallon bottle.

9. Will this remove odors from carpet padding.? Also will it eliminate old stains?
Rocco & Roxie Supply Co. Stain & Odor Eliminator comes in contact with any organic material (urine, feces, vomit, etc.) it will eliminate it. If the stains are deep in the padding, you'll need to apply enough of the spray to reach it.

10. Is this effective to kill Giardia to clean up after an infected pup?
This Stain & Odor Eliminator does not kill giardia. It is not designed to be used as an antimicrobial application, disinfectant or sanitizer. An EPA-registered antimicrobial would be more suitable for killing giardia.

11. Will this disinfect rug from cat diarrhea? There’s no remaining stain or odor, but worried about the bacteria.

12. Will this work on walls? Will it damage paint?
