It works by enhancing heart contraction strength and reducing strain, promoting a healthy and strong heartbeat. Additionally, digoxin lowers heart rate and vein pressure to address congestive heart failure-related conditions.

Possible Side Effects

Heightened serum levels, worsening heart failure, heart arrhythmia, loss of appetite, lethargy, dehydration and diarrhea have been reported.
