Albon (sulfadimethoxine) Tablets, 125mg

Albon (sulfadimethoxine) is an oral tablet used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections commonly encountered in dogs and cats. Albon is a low-dosage, rabidly absorbed, long-acting sulfonamide.

Recommended Dosage

Give Albon Tabs by mouth. It may be given with food. Follow the instructions exactly as given by your veterinarian, as dosage will depend on the weight of your pet.

Storage Instructions

Store at controlled room temperatures 59° - 86°F.

Possible Side Effects

Sulfa crystals may appear in your pet's urine. Your pet should be allowed to drink plenty of water while taking this medication. Other side effects that may occur include KCS or dry eye, anemia, fever, loss of appetite, vomiting or diarrhea, joint inflammation, kidney damage, and skin rash. Stop the medication and contact your veterinarian if any of the above symptoms occur. Other side effects may also occur. Talk to your veterinarian about any side effect that seems unusual or bothersome to your pet.
