Cephalexin Oral Suspension 125 mg/5ml

Cephalexin Oral Suspension is a berry-flavored antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It is effective against infections in soft tissue, skin, respiratory tract, and urinary tract. Cephalexin works by inhibiting bacterial wall nucleopeptide synthesis, leading to the destruction of the bacteria.

Possible Side Effects

Lack of appetite, vomiting, or diarrhea may occur. Some pets may experience drooling, rapid breathing, rashes, excitability, or high fever but this is rare. Other side effects are possible, so alert your veterinarian immediately if you notice any unusual symptoms or behaviors.

Recommended Dosage

Always follow your veterinarian's instructions.

Dogs: 10-30 mg/kg, every 6 to 12 hours orally.

Storage Instructions

After mixing with water, the oral suspension should be kept in the refrigerator and any unused portion should be discarded after 14 days. Shake well before use.
