Directions For Use

Remove from package and rinse with warm water. Gently lace your Floating Betta log in your Betta’s home (minimum 2 gallon container size, otherwise it will not fit). It may take your Betta a day or two to get use to his new Floating Betta Log. Placing his food in the top feeding hole will encourage him to use the log.

Will this product sink overtime?

This log will not sink over time as it features a patent pending floating design. While this product doesn't sink, the Zoo Med Ceramic Betta Log sinks to the bottom of your betta enclosure to provide the perfect sleeping den or hideout spot.

Is this product made from real wood and will it affect water hardness in any way? I've read that wood can reduce water hardness and the fish I have require hard water.

This product is not made from real wood. It's made with a ceramic exterior and heavy plastic.

Can I use this in a 200 gallon tank?

The Floating Betta Log requires a minimum 2 gallon container size and can be used in larger tanks.

Is this good for goldfish i got my sister some and trying to make the tank good and so they ain’t bored?

This log is designed for Betta fish however it can be used in any freshwater aquarium, at least 2 gallons in size.

Would I be able to put it in my betta's tank. It doesn't have a filter, however he needs a nice place to sleep, eat, and play in. I read the comments and I really wantt to get it for him but I don't know if its suitable.
