Budesonide Capsules, 3 mg

Budesonide is a systemic glucocorticoid that is commonly prescribed for treating inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) in cats and dogs. It is particularly effective for pets who cannot tolerate other steroids or have not responded well to them. This locally acting corticosteroid may also be used to address colitis and alleviate symptoms associated with IBD. Although it does not provide a cure, budesonide has been proven to assist in managing symptoms. It can also be prescribed for sinus inflammation or asthma.
