Processing time
Please allow 24–48 hours for us to process your order before it ships.

- We're open Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM PT. Orders aren't processed or shipped on weekends or federal holidays.
- Weather, holidays and other events outside our control can delay delivery.
- If your order needs extra shipping charges because of its weight or size, we'll hold it and contact you for approval before it ships. Please give us a phone number where we can reach you.
Shipping methods
Ground — $5.95, 4–8 business days
Ground is a flat $5.95 for most orders. Items weighing 3 lb or more carry an extra shipping fee, stated on the product page. Refrigerated items can't ship Ground. Orders to Hawaii, Alaska and US territories are priced at checkout by weight and destination.
Priority — $12.99, 2–4 business days
- Large or heavy items and orders don't qualify.
- ORM-D (hazardous material) items can't ship Priority under carrier regulations.
- Other item restrictions are marked on the product page.
Express — $24.99, 1–2 business days
- Ships via FedEx, Monday through Wednesday only. Orders placed Wednesday after 2 PM ET, or Thursday through Sunday, ship the following Monday.
- Same-day shipping cut-off: 2:00 PM ET (11:00 AM PT). Later orders ship the next eligible business day.
- Packages must weigh 10 lb or less. If your order is over the limit, we'll ship it Priority and you won't be charged the Express fee.
- Express can't ship to PO Boxes; please give a physical address.
Special items
Temperature-sensitive items — Express with ice, $24.99
- These items must ship Express and may arrive in a separate package from the rest of your order.
- Someone should be home to receive the delivery. We're not responsible for refrigerated items delayed or left outside because no one was available.
- If your temperature-sensitive order is too large for Express, we'll contact you, so please provide a valid phone number.
Pet food — priced by weight and destination
- Ships UPS Ground only, 7–12 business days.
- Must ship to a physical address, not a PO Box.
- Not eligible for free shipping and not available internationally.
Addresses, PO Boxes and signatures
Check your address before you order
We can't change a shipping address once an order is placed. If an order ships to an incorrect or incomplete address you entered, you're responsible for the cost of reshipping or reordering.
PO Boxes and APO/FPO
- Orders to PO Boxes, APO and FPO addresses ship via USPS, which has its own size and weight limits. Priority ships via USPS, so it can go to PO Boxes.
- Express orders, pet food and temperature-sensitive items can't ship to PO Boxes.
- If your order can't go to a PO Box, we'll contact you for a physical address.
Signature required over $200
Orders over $200 require a signature on delivery.
International shipping
International orders usually arrive in 15–20 business days, but can take up to 30, plus time in customs.
- Cost: based on destination, weight and package size. If carrier rates or customs requirements add charges, we'll hold your order and contact you for approval.
- Not shipped internationally: pet food and prescriptions.
- No returns on international orders.
- Refrigerated items: we can't guarantee they'll arrive cold, and we don't refund or reship temperature-sensitive international orders.
- Customs, duties and taxes are your responsibility. Please check your country's import rules before ordering. Hardy Paw isn't responsible for delays, damage, returns or confiscation by customs, and we don't refund items or shipping for packages customs refuses.
Problems with your order
Damaged, missing or incorrect items
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery if anything in your order is damaged, missing or incorrect. This applies to both over-the-counter and prescription orders. Please keep all items until we tell you what to do with them; throwing them away may prevent us from fixing the issue. Prescription products generally can't be returned under California pharmacy regulations.
Warm weather
Packages can get warm in transit or after delivery. A warm package doesn't mean the product is damaged and isn't grounds for an automatic refund or replacement. Please bring orders inside promptly. We review damaged products and items with specific storage temperatures case by case.
