Touch-Free Antimicrobial Spray Gel for Wounds
Product Description
Absorbine's Silver Honey Rapid Wound Repair Spray Gel combines Manuka honey and MicroSilver to treat cuts, scrapes, rain rot, rashes, fungus, and other wounds in horses, dogs, and other animals. It's proven to stop 99.9% of bacteria immediately, and its touch-free design stays in place instead of dripping off, making it well-suited for larger wounds in an 8 oz bottle.
Benefits

- Protects The Skin's Microbiome: Fights harmful bacteria while keeping the skin's natural balance of microorganisms intact during recovery from cuts or scrapes.
- Contains A Bittering Agent: Includes an ingredient that discourages animals from licking or chewing at the treated area while it heals.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What happens if my pet licks or swallows a small amount of this spray gel?
Ans: Small amounts typically shouldn't cause any issues, since this product is not meant to be ingested but isn't highly toxic in tiny quantities. If your pet consumes a larger amount, contact your veterinarian right away for guidance on what to do next.
Q2: Is this spray gel sticky or greasy once it's applied?
Ans: No, thanks to the combination of Manuka honey and MicroSilver, this formula has a smooth, creamy texture rather than a sticky or greasy one after application, making it comfortable for pets to wear throughout the day and during regular activity.
Q3: How is MicroSilver different from colloidal silver?
Ans: MicroSilver BG particles are around 10 microns in size, which is notably larger than the roughly 50-nanometer particles found in colloidal silver, also known as silver water, a common ingredient in other wound care products on the market today.
Q4: Can this spray gel be used on animals other than horses and dogs?
Ans: Yes. This spray gel is labeled for use on horses, dogs, and other animals making it suitable for homes and barns with different types of animals. It provides a convenient option for addressing minor wounds and supporting routine wound care when needed.
Q5: How is the spray gel different from the ointment version?
Ans: Both products contain Manuka honey and MicroSilver but the spray gel offers touch-free application that's designed to stay in place, making it especially useful for larger wounds or sensitive areas that are painful or difficult to touch by hand directly.
Q6: Why does this spray gel contain a bittering agent?
Ans: The bittering agent is added on purpose, since many animals try to lick or chew at treated wounds. Its unpleasant taste helps discourage that behavior so the wound has a better chance to heal without being disturbed during the recovery process.
Q7: What conditions can this spray gel treat besides cuts and scrapes?
Ans: Beyond cuts and abrasions, this spray gel is effective on sores, rain rot, rashes, fungus, scratches, hot spots, and burns making it useful for a wide range of common skin issues that pets and horses may experience throughout the year.
