Aqueon Adjustable PRO Aquarium Heater

Aqueon Pro Aquarium Heaters are built to deliver consistent heat. Each unit is made with a durable thermal plastic shatterproof housing and equipped with an electronic thermostat. The thermostat has an auto shut off safety feature, when the top of the heater tilts below the bottom of the heater, it will shut off. Additional features include adjustable heat settings and LED heating indicator that illuminates when actively heating. The suction cups make horizontal or vertical installation quick and easy. Pro Heaters are fully submersible and made for use in freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Available in five sizes to accommodate various aquarium sizes.

An appropriate measure to use is approximately 5 watts per gallon. Two heaters can be used in larger tanks but it depends on the ambient temperature outside of the tank.

I have a 30 gallon tall aquarium kit heater preset not warming up the tank enough should I add equal second one? I was thinking maybe 1 vertical the other horizontal?
More than 1 heater may be used in an aquarium. It is always best to ensure the heaters have too much wattage rather than too little. Too little wattage will strain the heaters to their limit.
