At what age should a horse receive the Calvenza-03 EIV/EHV vaccine?

Foals need to be given their first dose at 6 months, and a booster in 3-4 weeks. Boosters are needed for adult horses annually or every 6 months for risk horses.

How is Calvenza-03 EIV/EHV administered?

It is injected intramuscularly (IM) into the neck muscle using a sterile syringe and needle. Always consult the manufacturer's directions or your vet for the correct injection.

Directions for Use:

Administer 2 ml Calvenza®-03 EIV/EHV Intramuscular to horses 6 months of age or older, including pregnant mares. Administer a second dose of IM in 3-4 weeks using a different injection site. Administer a third dose IM or IN in 3-4 weeks. Revaccinate annually and before anticipated exposure, by either the intramuscular or intranasal route.

Storage:

Store at 35-45°F (2-7°C). Protect from freezing. Use entire contents when first opened.
