Frequently Asked Questions
Is Glandex anal gland wipes safe for dogs and cats?
Yes! Our medicated anal gland support wipes is safe for use on both dogs and cats. Medicated properties can help to provide anal gland support to your pet while offering relief from the need to scoot their butt on the ground.
Can the wipes be used with the spray?
Yes, it’s safe to use both the Glandex Anal Gland Medicated Wipes and Glandex Anal Gland Medicated Spray together. However, both products have similar formulas and are meant for the same purpose, so you only need to choose ONE for topical relief from anal gland skin irritation.
Which product should I use for my scooting pet: the Glandex Anal Gland Medicated Spray or Glandex Anal Gland Medicated Wipes?
That’s up to you (and your pet)! Some pets are nervous about being sprayed, and therefore will better tolerate a wipe. Alternatively, other pets may prefer the ‘hands-off’ application a spray provides. You should choose the product you think will provide the most comfortable and effective experience for your unique pet.
