Antibacterial and Antifungal Medicated Wipes for Bacterial and Fungal Skin Conditions

Product Description

Dechra Mal-A-Ket Antimicrobial Wipes are pre-moistened medicated wipes formulated for dogs and cats with skin conditions responsive to ketoconazole and/or chlorhexidine. Each wipe delivers 2% chlorhexidine gluconate for broad-spectrum antibacterial action and 1% ketoconazole for antifungal coverage, making them ideal for targeted topical treatment of bacterial and fungal infections, including those in skin folds, on the face, and other hard-to-clean areas. Each canister contains 50 wipes.

Benefits

  • Broad-Spectrum Antimicrobial Coverage: 2% chlorhexidine gluconate provides antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with residual effects that remain active on skin after application.
  • Antifungal Protection: 1% ketoconazole is a synthetic antifungal used to prevent and treat skin and fungal infections, including yeast, in dogs and cats.
  • Targeted and Convenient Application: Pre-moistened wipes allow quick, targeted treatment of affected areas, including skin folds, face, lips, and anal areas, without the need for bathing.
  • Acetic Acid Potentiation: Acetic acid potentiates and stabilizes ketoconazole while providing primary antimicrobial, antifungal, and cleansing action alongside the other active ingredients.
  • Safe for Sensitive Areas: Mal-A-Ket Wipes can be used on all areas of the pet, including the face, lips, and other sensitive spots that are difficult to treat with shampoos.
