Nobivac Intra-Trac KC | Canine Respiratory Protection

Nobivac Intra-Trac KC vaccine is indicated for the vaccination of dogs against Bordetella bronchiseptica, the etiologic agent associated with kennel cough (also known as Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Complex - CIRDC). This single-dose, non-injection vaccine provides rapid and effective respiratory immunity, thereby rendering it highly suitable for puppies and adult dogs exposed or potentially exposed to the risks associated with boarding, daycare, training, grooming salons, and shelters.

Benefits:

  • Protects Against Kennel Cough: Reduces the severity and spread of Bordetella bronchiseptica infections.
  • Fast-Acting Immunity: The intranasal route of administration provides a fast immune response right at the site of infection.
  • Stress-Free & Painless: No injection, hence a very comfortable experience for dogs.
  • Ideal for Social & Boarding Dogs: Indicated for dogs exposed to boarding, daycare, training, and grooming environments.
  • Safe for Puppies & Adults: Can be safely used in puppies as young as 3 weeks of age.

Why should I Nobivac Intra-Trac KC vaccinate my dog?

This intranasal vaccine provides fast, focused protection against kennel cough and is ideal for socially active dogs or those who are highly exposed to this condition.

How often does my dog need this vaccine?

Dogs should be vaccinated as early as 3 weeks of age, with annual boosters to maintain immunity.

Dosage & Administration:

Transfer the contents of the sterile diluent vial to the Nobivac Intra-Trac KC vial aseptically. Mix gently until dissolved. Remove the needle and administer 0.4 mL into one nostril. Because of the small dose volume, an applicator tip is not required for administration of the vaccine. Safe for pregnant bitches. Historically, annual revaccination has been recommended for this product. The need for this booster has not been established. Contact your veterinarian or manufacturer for more information on revaccination frequency.

Precautions:

  • Store at 2° - 8°C (35°-46°F).
  • Do not freeze.
  • Use new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes.
  • Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the label.
  • Inactivate unused contents before disposal.
  • In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Warnings:

  • Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized dogs.
  • Post-vaccinal reactions consisting of mild canine cough may occur following the use of this vaccine.
  • Fetal health risks associated with the vaccination of pregnant animals with this vaccine cannot be unequivocally determined during clinical trials conducted for licensure. Appropriate strategies to address the risks associated with vaccines used in pregnant animals should be discussed with a veterinarian.
  • The use of a biological product may produce anaphylaxis and/or other inflammatory immune-mediated hypersensitivity reactions. ANTIDOTE: Epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines may all be indicated depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.
