How often will my cat have to receive the Nobivac NXT FeLV vaccination?

Most kittens require an initial two-dose series of vaccinations, followed by annual revaccination to protect against FeLV.

Dosage & Administration:

Transfer the contents of the sterile diluent vial to the Nobivac® NXT FeLV vial aseptically and mix gently until dissolved. For primary immunization, administer 1 dose (0.5 mL) subcutaneously as early as 8 weeks of age, followed by a second dose administered 3 to 4 weeks later. Contact your veterinarian or manufacturer for more information on revaccination frequency.

Precautions:

  • Store at 2° - 8°C (35°-46°F).
  • Do not freeze.
  • Use new, non-chemically sterilized needles and syringes.
  • Do not mix with other products, except as specified on the label.
  • In case of human exposure, contact a physician.

Warnings:

  • Vaccinate only healthy, non-parasitized cats.
  • This product has not been tested in pregnant animals.
  • Do not administer to horses or other equine species.
  • The use of a biological product may produce anaphylaxis and/or other inflammatory immune-mediated hypersensitivity reactions. Antidote: Epinephrine, corticosteroids, and antihistamines may all be indicated depending on the nature and severity of the reaction.
