Panacur Dewormer Suspension

Panacur Suspension 1 liter

works as a dewormer for the control of large strongyles, small strongyles, and pinworms. It is safe for foals and pregnant mares, older horses, thin and underweight horses or miniature horses. Panacur Suspension for Horses should be administered orally, and retreatment may be needed after 4 to 6 weeks if exposure to parasites continues. It is also used for cattle deworming with Panacur Suspension:   PANACUR® (fenbendazole) is a suspension drench used in beef and dairy cattle as an aid in the removal and control of: lungworm; stomach worm (adults): brown stomach worm; stomach worms (adults and fourth stage larvae): barberpole worm and small stomach worm; intestinal worms (adults and fourth stage larvae): hookworm, thread-necked intestinal worm, small intestinal worm, bankrupt worm, and nodular worm. Can also be used in goats for the removal and control of stomach worms (adults).

is for cattle only. It is a suspension drench used in beef and dairy cattle as an aid in the removal and control of: lungworm; stomach worm (adults): brown stomach worm; stomach worms (adults and fourth stage larvae): barberpole worm and small stomach worm; intestinal worms (adults and fourth stage larvae): hookworm, thread-necked intestinal worm, small intestinal worm, bankrupt worm, and nodular worm. Can also be used in goats for the removal and control of stomach worms (adults).  

Possible Side Effects

No serious side effects have been reported. Do not use in horses intended for human consumption. Do not use in beef calves less than 2 months old, dairy calves and veal calves. A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves. Cattle must not be slaughtered for 8 days. For dairy cattle, the milk discard time is 48 hours.

Recommended Dosage

Horses: 5 mg/kg (2.3 mg/lb)
