PrednisTab (Prednisolone) Tablets, 5mg

Product Description

A corticosteroid, PrednisTab can be used to treat a variety of conditions in your pets. It is an anti-inflammatory steroid with a broad range of therapeutic purposes. It can be used to treat a number of conditions, including: arthritis pain, asthma, Addison's disease, and lupus. Does your pet have allergies? These tablets are also useful for treating allergic reactions. It can also be used on certain pets with blood and skin disorders, but always consult your veterinarian before beginning treatment.

Possible Side Effects

Side effects are usually dose-dependent. If side effects occur, contact your vet, who may decrease the dosage, frequency or type of corticosteroid. Possible side effects include stomach upset and increased thirst, urination and/or appetite. Other adverse reactions include hair thinning, fatigue, muscle weakness, high blood pressure, sudden weight gain and panting. Extended use may induce diabetes or Cushings disease. Contact your vet immediately if you notice any strange behaviors or symptoms after administering Prednisolone.

Storage Instructions

Store at controlled room temperature of 68° - 77°F.
