Product Description

Ventipulmin syrup for horses is indicated for the management of animals affected with airway obstruction, such as that which occurs in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Clears mucus from the airways, is safe and effective. Provides optimum level of treatment. Only FDA-approved oral bronchodilator for horses. 

Possible Side Effects

Mild sweating, muscle tremor, restlessness, urticaria and tachycardia may be observed in some horses during the first few days of treatment. May cause elevated creatine kinase (CK) serum levels.

Recommended Dosage

Use as directed by your veterinarian. The initial recommended dose of Ventipulmin syrup is 0.5 ml per 100 lbs twice daily for 3 days. If no improvement, increase dosage per label instructions, up to 2.0 ml per 100 lbs twice daily. The recommended duration of treatment with clenbuterol for horses at effective dose is 30 days.
