Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What is MilbeGuard Red Pack used for in dogs 51 to 100 lbs and cats 12.1 to 25 lbs?
Ans: MilbeGuard Red Pack 23 mg tablets help protect dogs and cats from heartworm disease. For dogs, they also treat and control adult hookworms and eliminate roundworms and whipworms. For cats, monthly use removes adult hookworms and roundworms.
Q2: How often should MilbeGuard 23 mg tablets be given?
Ans: Administer MilbeGuard 23 mg tablets by mouth once every month at the recommended minimum dose. Give the first dose within a month of your pet being exposed to mosquitoes, and continue with monthly dosing after that. If more than 30 days have passed since the last dose, give it right away and then continue on the usual monthly schedule.
Q3: How does MilbeGuard Red Pack work against parasites?
Ans: MilbeGuard contains milbemycin oxime, which eliminates the tissue stage of heartworm larvae and adult intestinal worms according to species indication.
