How to Use

Dosage and Administration Instructions 

• Administration Frequency: NexGard® PLUS is administered orally once every month to ensure consistent parasite protection in large dogs.
• Afoxolaner Dosage: The minimum dosage includes 1.14 mg per pound (2.5 mg/kg) of afoxolaner for efficacy.
• Moxidectin Dosage: Each dose also contains 5.45 mcg per pound (12 mcg/kg) of moxidectin for heartworm prevention.
• Pyrantel Dosage: The formulation further provides 2.27 mg per pound (5.0 mg/kg) of pyrantel as pamoate salt.
• Heartworm Disease Prevention: Administer NexGard® PLUS once monthly for at least six months after the last mosquito exposure.

• Ingredient Information: Afoxolaner, an ingredient in NexGard® PLUS, belongs to the isoxazoline class of compounds.
• Neurologic Reactions: Isoxazoline class drugs have been associated with neurologic adverse reactions such as tremors and seizures.
• Seizure Reports: Seizures have been reported in dogs treated with isoxazoline drugs, even without prior seizure history.
• Caution for Sensitive Dogs: Use NexGard® PLUS with caution in dogs with known neurologic disorders or a history of seizures.
