Surpass Topical Cream for Horses (124 g)

A horse’s joints often need medical support in order to relieve the pain and inflammation associated with equine osteoarthritis. Untreated osteoarthritis can cause poor performance, lameness and long-term effects on quality of life. 

SURPASS for horses is a unique topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that provides pain relief directly at the site of inflammation in tarsal, carpal, metacarpophalangeal, metatarsophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal (hock, knee, fetlock and pastern) joints in horses. This targeted treatment minimizes the risk of the potential side effects that come with systemic NSAIDS.

 Directions for Use

Use as directed by your veterinarian. 

Apply a five-inch (5”) ribbon of SURPASS topical cream and rub the cream thoroughly into the hair covering the affected joint until it disappears. Use it twice daily for up to ten days.

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Wear gloves when administering SURPASS. If direct contact with skin occurs, wash immediately with soap and water. For more information please read SURPASS Product Label.

NSAIDs should only be administered under the direction of a licensed professional. SURPASS topical cream is only approved for use in horses and has not been evaluated in breeding, pregnant, or lactating horses, or in horses under 1 year of age.
