Surpass Topical Cream for Horses (124 g)
A horse’s joints often need medical support in order to relieve the pain and inflammation associated with equine osteoarthritis. Untreated osteoarthritis can cause poor performance, lameness and long-term effects on quality of life.
SURPASS for horses is a unique topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that provides pain relief directly at the site of inflammation in tarsal, carpal, metacarpophalangeal, metatarsophalangeal and proximal interphalangeal (hock, knee, fetlock and pastern) joints in horses. This targeted treatment minimizes the risk of the potential side effects that come with systemic NSAIDS.
The only approved topical NSAID medication that modifies both clinical signs and progression of osteoarthritis in horses
Targeted treatment minimizes the risk of the potential side effects that come with systemic NSAIDS
Formulated with unique WISDOM™ liposomal delivery technology, which helps enhance local absorption of the active ingredient, diclofenac, at the site of inflammation
Disease modifying effects - shown to increase glycosaminoglycan concentration in cartilage and decrease bone sclerosis in osteoarthritis-affected joints
Symptom modifying effects shown to improve lameness scores following treatment with SURPASS
Penetrates the skin barrier in a way that alternatives don’t, necessitating fewer applications
